IMRAD stands for introduction, methods, results and Discussion.The IMRAD report tells one how two write and academic paper and our first draft was not an academic piece. In our First major assignment we wrote about a given field and described how to write in the topic. The paper used academic sources with in the paper however, we also had non-academic pieces. 
The IMRAD describes tactics to write the academic piece. It gives you the structure of how to write the academic paper. The paper consists of a title, abstract or executive summery, introduction, methods, results, discussion or recommendation, and lastly references. This is very different from the previous paper in how the last draft only included; a title, introduction, body with arguments, a conclusion, and references. The main difference other than not having similar parts between the two is that our last paper was flexible. We were able to add some of our own ideas and not just the facts behind it, we analyzed the topic. This next piece will not have ones on opinion it will be strictly the facts.
